About the Council
The National Council for Future Technology (NCFT) was established upon the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II in January 2025 as part of Jordan's commitment to positioning itself as a regional leader in emerging technologies.
Championed by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and chaired by the Prime Minister, the Council adopts an inclusive, horizontal approach. It is composed of representatives from Jordan's public and private sectors, working alongside leaders from academia, future technologies and design experts, industry, and Jordanian expatriates who are leaders in relevant fields. The NCFT ensures coordinated national foresight, policy development, and the advancement of secure, innovation-driven ecosystems.
